this is interesting communications. one of the things that i mentioned in my first blog entry was about standardized testing. does anyone know how other countries handle evaluating their students nationally and individually? Surely there is a better way. My students are tested, tested, tested and retested!!! i am sure someone in this group has done some research on this.

    I can honestly say that I know nothing about the way other countries assess their students, but the idea is very intriguing. I spend a lot of time looking at the way other countries teach, but have never thought to look into how they assess. This would be a great project in our "spare time."
